Dear BB

Daddy and Mummy have finally told your maternal grandparents about our good news today. Gong-gong sounded really happy and positive, Po-po on the other hand was calm and happy. We are so glad that they are so positive and joyous about Mummy being pregnant with you. We told Popo first, Mummy started by telling Popo that we can't go overseas with her this year already. She thot we are broke that's why we can't go with them. But I told her that it's coz I'm carrying a BB inside me, Popo immediately sat up from the sofa and said "Good!". Popo did not ask us much things, only worry is who will look after you when you're born. She asked Daddy and Mummy to start to look ard for a baby-sitter, which of coz we will, in another few months time, when it's nearer to the EDD. Gong-gong however, kept asking us about questions like how long ago we discovered the good news, when your are coming out, whether we have found a gynae, our plans, etc.

Mummy had some very slight spotting today, but it should be fine, it should be becoz of the implantation. Auntie Sharon and Auntie Nel instructed Mummy to rest in bed as much as I can, and if the spotting does not go away, I will have to go and see Dr Chen the next day already.

Auntie Sharon has been very nice to offer to help Mummy to buy the Clarins Stretch Mark lotion and oil at the airport DFS. Mummy feels the occassional cramps in the stomach, some kind of tension, but its not exactly painful. Some research online has made me understand more about the pregnancy, it is coz Mummy's uterus is is expanding, to make space for you, BB, that is why there will be the occassional cramps.

Mummy's breasts are perpentually sore and swollen everyday. Your anxious Daddy keeps asking Mummy the same questions day in day out, and this frustrates Mummy sometimes coz it's such a bother to answer the same questions everyday. Daddy has been very accomodating and caring, he gives in to Mummy in almost every single aspect, and he will wear socks for me at night, bring me water before sleep, iron the clothes, hang the clothes to dry, wahs the toilet, buy me food that I want to eat (regardless of the hour), wake up early to buy breakfast. Mummy really appreciates what Daddy has done, and wishes that after you are born, Daddy will continue to do these for Mummy!

Can't wait to see you on the next gynae visit - 19 Feb @ Dr Chen's clinic.

Missing you BB,
Your Kiasu Mummy

& the baby cooed on 2:30 PM
