Week 35 Visit - 10 September 2009
Thursday, September 10, 2009

Baby's estimated weight - 2.417kg
Mummy's weight - 71.6 kg

Dr Chen commented that baby is very naughty, always causing Mummy discomforts and alarms. If Baby Isabelle decides to come out anytime from now, she is of a safe weight and Dr Chen will not hesitate to deliver her out. Today's visit was very long. The scan took longer than usual coz Isabelle's not co-operating. We did not manage to catch a full view of her, and her hands were always in the scan! Saw her open her eyes and used her hand to rub her eyes! That scene was super cute and Dr Chen managed to capture that image and print it out for us. (The 3rd scan photo is Isabelle and her hand)

Dr Chen explained all the labour signs, pain relief methods to Daddy and Mummy. Hearing it from Dr Chen is so different from getting to know it in the pre-natal lessons. Felt more assured after listening to Dr Chen, not sure why also. Heehee.. Maybe coz Mummy feels very safe in Dr Chen's hands and therefore dun feel so pressured or scared, knowing that Dr Chen will do all she needs to to deliver Isabelle safely into this world.

For the first time, we need not pay a single cent for seeing Dr Chen. Only took the iron pills and no other medication coz there is sufficient at home.

After the visit, Daddy and Mummy went to Studio Loft for the Bloom Photoshoot. Was a very different experience coz there was the semi-naked photoshoot which emphasized on Mummy's tummy (and of coz captured the stretchmarks and ugly belly button). We had about 150 photos, but only decided to develop one 8R photo, the rest of the photos will be selected when Isabelle is out and Daddy and Mummy brings her for her photoshoot.

Next visit to Dr Chen is in 2 weeks' time! Time flies, soon my little precious baby will be saying hello to everyone already!
